To patch or not to patch III – back to the orthoptist

This write-up is centred around events that seem an age away.  I have always caveated this website with the fact that life will always trump this blog and over the last month life has certainly got the way, and no, I am not going to apologise for it.  I will, however, attempt to make up for the lack of updates with several over the next couple of weeks as I get you up to speed with the latest news from chez Bagnall and although I am not going to apologise for the lack of updates, I will apologise in advance for the rushed nature of this and the following updates and any grammatical errors that you may notice. Let’s not talk about politics

After a strong start to the year in terms of the frequency of website updates, I have stalled in recent weeks and have fallen behind my attempts at updating at least once a fortnight.  This may have disappointed some of you, but I make no apologies, life has to take precedence over letting you know about it.  Unfortunately, it is not because I have been busy with the family, which would be a more acceptable excuse, but more that the football seasons are heading to their inevitable conclusion, coupled with the Eurovision Song Contest and umpteen other sports that require televisual production and so I have been spending a little more time at work than usual. If we had no Winter, the Spring would not be so pleasant

We are half way through April and the Baguettes have not been to school this month.  A relatively late Easter has meant that the fortnight break between the Spring and Summer terms has so far prevented the Baguettes from attending class this month.  Unfortunately, their two-week break has coincided with a busy time for me at work so most of the childcare has fallen to Lucinda.     Read more
